Tallow Whipp Butter: Vanilla + Honey

This luxurious, decadent, saturating moisturizer will provide protection, soothing, and repair to the most damaged of skin barriers, and is gentle enough for cracked, sensitive, and baby skin (6+ months)

We begin with grass fed tallow that is slow rendered in a glass double boiler. The tallow comes from our own families grass fed, grass finished beef share from a local farm, Source Farms, from cows that are humanely raised on lush Oregon pasture,  and humanely slaughtered. We are so grateful for the nourishment the cows give to our bodies internally and externally.

We then hand mix golden jojoba sourced from one of the last remaining USA based family run farms in Arizona, and then blend in a touch of local raw honey and warmed vanilla. You won’t be sure whether you want to eat this or apply to your body (or do both, like our one year old does!)

Ingredient Benefits 

Tallow closely resembles the human skin cell structure because both human skin and tallow contain 50-55% saturated fats, which help provide skin cell integrity. Tallow and Sebum both contain primarily triglycerides, which allow nutrients to be absorbed quite easily.

Organic Golden Jojoba Oil: actually a liquid wax, the structure is very similar to the natural oils of our skin, which helps it absorb faster than other oils while being incredibly moisturizing. It is full of nutrients, antioxidants, and minerals, like Vitamin E and B, chromium, copper, and zinc, which helps nourish and protect skin. Jojoba helps tame inflammation, reduce fine lines, control acne breakouts, soothe sunburn, and more. It also can help trick your skin into thinking it has produced enough oil, and thus balance oil production. Most of our bodies produce a lot of excess oil because it is needed to reach equilibrium due to excessive washing. Our bodies are always trying to reach healing, balance, and homeostasis. It also helps repair skin, and helps heal wounds.

No harm beeswax: Helps protect and repair rough, dry, and happed skin by forming a breathable protective barrier on the skin that helps protect it from environmental toxins, and helps hold in moisture to reduce dryness. Beeswax is also a natural humectant, meaning it attracts water molecules from the air to keep your skin hydrated, an important part of smooth, healthy skin! It is also a good source of vitamin A, which helps your skins natural exfoliation process for rejuvenated, glowing skin. Because it is anti allergenic, it is easily tolerated by those with reactive skin, and helps relieve dry itchy skin associated with eczema, psoriasis, and cracked skin.

Raw Local Mountain Fireweed Honey: contains six different vitamins, including riboflavin, niacin, pantothenic acid, vitamin B6, folate, and vitamin C. Honey is also a natural humectant, meaning it draws water from the air (or deeper layers of the skin) if the air around yoi is dry. If you do not live in a humid environment- it is important to mist your body with our No.2 Hydration Mist or water or hydrosol throughout the day so that you don’t dehydrate the deeper layers of your skin.

Vanilla: antioxidant packed to fight free radicals, relaxes mind and body and skin, aphrodisiac properties, uplifting, can combat yeast infections, soothe burns, reduce muscle pain (and smells like dessert!) Customer testimonial has shown it to be incredibly effective in skin conditions such as eczema on babies and kids, while being completely non irritating and gentle, even on the face and around the eyes.
